Since 1927, Natchitoches (pronounced Nack-a-tish) has been home to one of the oldest community-based holiday celebrations in the country. Over 300,000 lights and 100 plus set pieces are on display every night at dusk along the riverfront.
This three-day trip to Louisiana's oldest city will give you a chance to take a strolling guided tour by many of this city's magnificent homes and admire their lovely Christmas decorations with the owners inviting you to sample some of their famous tidbits and delectable drinks. Also included are tours of the historic downtown and Ft. Baptiste.
There will be plenty of free time for shopping and exploring on your own. Meals at renown local restaurants are included.
We will have our own historic Bed and Breakfast but there are only five rooms, so you will need to sign up as soon as possible!
